BIOREACTOR COMBINED WITH AERATION AND SETTLING CAPABLE OF SAVING COST OF CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION BY USING ACTIVATED SLUDGE

PURPOSE: To reduce construction cost and operation cost and improve sewage and wastewater treatment efficiency by performing aeration process and settling process in the same reactor when treating sewage and wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The bioreactor combined with aeration and settling comprises a bioreactor (100) into which sewage and wastewater flow to purify and discharge sewage and wastewater by mixing sewage and wastewater with activated sludge and aerating the mixture; an aeration zone (10) which is formed by dividing the inside of the bioreactor, and in which an aerator is installed to aerate the mixture by mixing sewage and wastewater with activated sludge; a settling zone (20) which is formed by dividing the inside of the bioreactor, and into which treated water aerated in the aeration zone flows so that sludge is settled; an outflow means comprising outflow weir (22) and outflow waterway (21) installed along both side walls for dividing the settling zone; and a longitudinal partition wall (30) which separate the aeration zone from the settling zone by longitudinally dividing the bioreactor, and in a lower part of which an opening part is formed so that treated water aerated in the aeration zone is ascended and flown into the settling zone, and sludge settled in the settling zone is flown into the aeration zone again.
