A method of slag splash coating in an oxygen converter

PURPOSE: A method for coating slag splash of an electric furnace is provided to initially stabilize work by putting the amount of arsenic acid into a standard capacity by position within a converter and to improve the life span of the converter. CONSTITUTION: Arsenic acid is measured by part within a converter by installing a slag arsenic acid amount measuring container in a sub-lance in the converter(10). The lance height for maximizing the arsenic acid is derived by using the measured result. Accordingly, the slag arsenic acid amount is measured by installing the slag arsenic acid amount measuring container in the sub-lance upon coating the slag splash in the converter. Then conditions to efficiently coat within a short time are sufficiently made up, and the work is stabilized early. In addition, the life span of the converter is improved.
