PURPOSE: A method to construct a prestressed rahmen steel overpass is provided to reduce the section force(bending moment, shearing force) given to a base of a column. CONSTITUTION: A construction method comprises four steps. In the first step, a steel column(31) is fixed in a concrete base(33) constructed previously. In the second step, two temporary bents(35) are installed between the columns, and a central girder(36) is placed on the bents. In the third step, an upper girder(32) of a supporting point and the central girder are fastened with high-tension bolts when horizontal force(H) is given to the upper girder of the supporting point. In the fourth step, the horizontal force and the temporary bent are removed.
