PURPOSE: An advanced sludge reaeration process is provided to save the structure volume by excluding first clarifier and improve the removal efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorous by using inorganic material in the nutritious salts removing. CONSTITUTION: The advanced sludge reaeration process comprises a sludge reaeration basin(2) into which a portion of raw water is introduced and highly concentrated sludge is reaerated through conveyance line, an anoxic basin(4) in which denitrification bacteria denitrify mixed liquid sludge, which is introduced through the reaeration basin, and inflow water, an anaerobic basin(6) into which the water treated in the anoxic basin is introduced and the other water is introduced, and phosphorous is released from bacteria under anaerobic condition, an intermittent aeration basin which performs nitrification and denitrification by repeating aerobic and anaerobic conditions, and an aerobic basin in which the treated water is introduced, and the nitrification and denitrification of the organic materials are performed under aerobic condition.
