PURPOSE: A method and a system for compensating a measured error when measuring a width using a CCD camera are provided to precisely measure the width by compensating the measured error caused by rotational movement of an object on the basis of a reference surface. CONSTITUTION: In a method for compensating a measured error when measuring a width using a CCD camera, distances(L1,L2) to the object(1) to be measured are first measured using laser distance measuring sensors(10,11) mounted on both sides of the CCD camera(2). Then, a measure error caused by a rotational movement of the object from a center of a measuring reference surface is compensated on the basis of the measured distances(L1,L2) and a width(Ws) between the sensors(10,11).
