Fluorene polymers for electroluminescent material and Electroluminescent device including the same

PURPOSE: A fluorene-based polymer for a light emitting material of an electroluminescent device and an electroluminescent device using the polymer are provided, wherein polymer has the optical and electrical activity, therefore can be applied to an optical switch, a module wave guide and a light absorbent. CONSTITUTION: The fluorene-based polymer is represented by the formula 1, wherein R and R' are identical or different each other and are H, an aliphatic or alicyclic alkyl or alkoxy group of C1-C22, an aryl or aryloxy group of C6-C18, or a substituent selected from trimethylsilyl, triphenylsilyl, tributyltin and triethyl germanium; and n is an integer of 1 or more. The electroluminescent device comprises the fluorene-based polymer as a light emitting material of a light emitting layer. Preferably the fluorene-based polymer is mixed with a charge transfer polymer and the charge transfer polymer is poly(vinyl carbazole).
