MULTIVIEW STEREOSCOPIC 3D DEVICE USING VOLUME HOLOGRAPHIC OPTICAL ELEMENT

PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying a multiview stereoscopic image using a volume holographic optical element optical plate is provided to display a stereoscopic image by reading a multiview image in a time-division method and diffracting the multiview image in a specific direction. CONSTITUTION: An image source(600) provides a time-divided multiview image. An interference beam generating unit generates the first interference beam and the second interference beam. The first interference beam control unit controls an incident angle of the first interference beam. The second interference beam controls an incident angle of the second interference beam. A synchronous signal controller(500) controls the first interference beam control unit and the second interference beam control unit to synchronize the multiview image with the first interference beam and the second interference beam. A display unit(400) diffracts the synchronized multiview image in each multiview direction for displaying the multiview image.
