FUSING APPARATUS FOR NON-MEMORY AND FUSING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A fusing apparatus for a non-memory and a fusing method thereof are provided to prevent over-discharge by adding a controller to the fusing apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A power supply(520) supplies a supply voltage to a fusing apparatus. A charge/discharge part(525) charges the predetermined power for cutting a fuse and discharges the charged voltage. A first switch is connected between the power supply and the charge/discharge part(525) in order to perform a switching operation according to a fusing request signal. A second switch(540) is connected between the charge/discharge part(525) and the fuse in order to perform the switching operation according to a driving signal. A detection load(550) is connected between the fuse and a reference power source. A controller(560) is used for detecting a voltage difference between both ends of the detection load and generating the driving signal according to the detected voltage difference and the fusing request signal.
