Method for extending the functions of microsoft windows based network applications and the system thereof

PURPOSE: A network application program extension system and method is provided to extend functions of network application programs over the Microsoft Windows by using an interface offered by the Microsoft Windows, a chained service provider module made in advance, and a relay server relaying data between a client and a server. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a client executing a network application program(302), the client making the network application program request access to a server by using an IP and a port data(304), an access service module intercepting access to the server(306), the access service module selecting an optimal relay server among a plurality of relay servers(308), the access service module changing server access data with relay server access data(310), the access service module accessing the selected relay server(312), the access service module checking if the access to the server is successful(314), the relay server authenticating an accessing user based on the input ID and password(316), the relay server enabling the user to access the server if the user is authenticated(320), the relay server stopping the access if the user is not properly authenticated(326), and the relay server relaying communication between the client and the server(324).
