PURPOSE: An antifreezing operation controller and a method thereof are provided to previously prevent the freezing of a heating system in a boiler by automatically performing an antifreezing operation function when errors are generated. CONSTITUTION: In turning on a power cord, the short of an operation controller is checked. Without shorting, a common operation according to a mode of the operation controller is performed. In shorting, a temperature from an external temperature sensor, a temperature from an external temperature sensor and a temperature from an output water temperature sensor are checked. A turning-on status of a water level sensor is checked when the temperature from the external temperature sensor is under a certain temperature for a certain time, the temperature from the output water temperature sensor is under a certain temperature and the temperature from the output water temperature sensor is below a certain temperature. In the turning-on status of the water level sensor, a trigonal valve is moved and fixed to a heating side. An antifreezing combustion function is operated while ignoring a combustion off signal of a 24hours heating timer and an on signal of a current switch. The operation to detect the status of the water level sensor is performed again when the temperature from the output water temperature sensor is over an antifreezing releasing temperature. Otherwise, the initial operation is performed again. Thereby, the antifreezing of a heating system in a boiler is prevented previously.
