PURPOSE: An operation control device in operating a parking brake of a vehicle is provided to prevent an accelerator pedal from being operated by a driver without releasing completely the parking brake by fixing a throttle valve and to restrict the breakage of a parking brake system by carelessness of the driver. CONSTITUTION: An operation control device in operating a parking brake of a vehicle is composed of a parking brake position detecting switch(11); an electronic control unit(13) receiving a signal from the parking brake position detecting switch; a relay(14) applying a control signal from the electronic control unit to a coil; a battery(16) coupled to one end of a switch of the relay to supply power; a solenoid(15) connected to the other end of the switch of the relay; a first rod(17) projected from the solenoid; a lever(18) of which one end is connected to the first rod and a central part is fixed; a second rod(19) connected to the other end of the lever; a master cylinder(20) connected to the second rod; a release cylinder(21) receiving hydraulic pressure generated from the master cylinder; a third rod projected from the release cylinder; and a throttle valve(25) having a stopper hole(26) into which the third rod is inserted or separated.
