PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing the performance and standard of a very high speed network using an SNMPV RMON(remote network monitoring) is provided to collectively manage the performance and standard of the very high speed network by receiving RMON information collected from information collector, comparing and analyzing received RMON information with data measured in a user side, and managing and alarming the performance and standard of an entire network. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of information collectors(7) communicate with a DSLAM(3), an NAS(4), and a PMS(6), collect RMON information provided from the DSLAM(3), the NAS(4), and the PMS(6), and transmit stored RMON information to a management system(8) when data are requested from the management system(8). The management system(8) collects RMON information from the information collectors(7), compares and analyzes collected RMON information with information about the operation environment and current state of each equipment, monitors the performance and standard of an entire network, and alarms abnormality when the abnormality is generated. The management system(8) retrieves a plurality of IP use situations of a single IP user using network connection information of a user collected from each information collector(7).
