Cavity-Preventing Type Reactor and Method for Fabricating Preform for Plastic Optical Fiber Using the Same

PURPOSE: A reactor for preventing a cavity and a method for manufacturing a base material for a plastic optical fiber using the same are provided to prevent the cavity formation due to volume contraction phenomenon by controlling a refractive index grade of a radius direction and a longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(10) includes a reactant inflow hole(11) for flowing a reactant in the whole of a reactor. A reacting unit(20) is provided by setting a blocking wall(32) between the reacting unit(20) and the input unit(10) and includes a channel(21) connecting to the input unit(10) on the center of the blocking wall(32). A cavity blocking structure(30) is installed between the channel(21) of the reacting unit(20) and the reactant inflow hole(11) of the input unit(10) so that a cavity is not continued to the reacting unit(20), and includes one or one more channels(31) so that the reactant flows in the reacting unit(20).
