PURPOSE: A dual resonance passive microstrip patch antenna is provided to achieve maximized radiation efficiency in a wide frequency band by improving feeder structure, while reducing manufacturing procedures and costs. CONSTITUTION: A dual resonance passive microstrip patch antenna comprises a microstrip feeder line(3), an air layer(5) formed on the microstrip feeder line, a lower passive patch(6) formed on the air layer, a dielectric member(7) formed on the passive patch, and an upper passive patch(8) formed on the dielectric member. A microstrip path is formed to have a multi-stage width so as to achieve an impedance matching, and the upper passive patch and the lower passive patch have edges which are cut inclined so as to achieve a dual resonance.
