Dyeing process of silk fabrics by disperse dye

PURPOSE: A method of dyeing silk by a disperse dye which exhibits dye exhaustion higher than an acid dye and gives a variety of colors from a primary color to pastel colors while solving defects of conventional silk dyeing by the acid dye is provided which produces a silk product with a three dimensional pattern, characteristic texture and beautiful color. CONSTITUTION: A disperse dye which has a dye exhaustion of 99% or more on silk at a dye temperature of 90deg.C and excellent fastness and can be used as raw material for ground color of scouring and discharging is selected from a disperse dye which is easily decomposed by a reducing agent and then silk is subjected to dip dying, printing, continuous dyeing or color printing during a scouring and discharging process with the disperse dye. To dye the silk, various techniques such as white discharge, color discharge, printing, tie dying, spray dyeing, etc. can be used.
