IPC Dual Redundancy Scheme using Ethernet HUB board

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for duplicating an IPC(Inter-Processor Communication) channel using Ethernet hub boards is provided to stabilize an IPC channel by using two duplicated Ethernet hub boards. CONSTITUTION: If an IPC message to be transmitted to processor B or C(130,140) is made at processor board A(120) in the form of an Ethernet frame, the made Ethernet frame is transferred to processor B or C(130,140) through an active Ethernet hub board among two duplicated Ethernet hub boards A and B(100,110) according to an Ethernet protocol operation. On the contrary, on case that an IPC message to be transmitted to processor A(120) is made at processor board B(130) in the form of an Ethernet frame, the made Ethernet frame is transferred to processor A(120) through the active Ethernet hub board according to an Ethernet protocol operation.
