An internet service system using sectorizated wireless LAN, and its handover and roaming method among sectors

PURPOSE: An Internet service apparatus using a sectored wireless LAN and a method for hand-over and roaming between sectors thereof are provided to remove service shadow areas and reuse used frequency by the sector, thereby sufficiently securing a use band at low cost. CONSTITUTION: A router(230) is connected to the Internet(240) and a network. A plurality of wireless LAN access points(220,221,222) are connected with the router(230). A plurality of directional antennas(211,212,213) are respectively connected to the wireless LAN access points(220,221,222). The plurality of directional antennas(211,212,213) transmit and receive wireless LAN signals with a data communication terminal(200) in a communication cell controlled by each wireless LAN access point. The communication cell is divided into a plurality of sectors by directivity of the plurality of directional antennas(211,212,213), so that the data communication terminal located at each sector is connected to the Internet(240) through the directional antenna controlling the corresponding sector.
