PURPOSE: A diffraction efficiency equalizing method for regularly compensating for diffraction efficiency between reproduced images inevitably generated in a volume holographic digital data storage system using angle multiplexing is provided to improve the quality of reproduced images by minimizing a change in diffraction efficiency, freely select a CCD(Charge Coupled Device), and expand an angular range of angle multiplexing. CONSTITUTION: Recording time of a hologram data page in angle multiplexing recording and reproduction is set up in accordance with frequency of hologram data multiplexed at the same position of a storage medium according to an increase of stored hologram data pages, an erasure time constant of a recording material, and an incidence angle of a reference beam to be projected to the stored hologram data pages.
