METHOD FOR TESTING A TIME SWITCH OF A SWITCHING SYSTEM, ESPECIALLY REGARDING TO ACCURATELY TEST A TIME SWITCH OF A SWITCHING SYSTEM USING DOUBLE BUFFERING TO PREVENT COMPETITION BY SIMULTANEOUS ACCESS TO A SWITCHING MEMORY AREA
PURPOSE: A method for testing a time switch of a switching system is provided to obtain an accurate test result for a time switch. CONSTITUTION: Pattern data for a time switch test is received from an operator, and the inputted pattern data are stored on a comparing register. The inputted pattern data are converted into parallel pattern data, and each bit of the parallel pattern data is reversed respectively. The converted parallel pattern data and the reversed parallel pattern data are alternately inserted into a specific time slot of a time division multiple transmission line at an alternate frame period. Pattern data of the specific time slot switched at an end of a switching path of a time switch are extracted at an alternate frame period so that the extracted pattern data are stored at an each register of a continuous frame pattern data extractor(24). Two pattern data stored at the registers are compared with the pattern data stored at the comparing register to produce a test result of the time switch.
