Iron core type linear motor for high thrust force

PURPOSE: A high thrust core type linear motor is provided to achieve improved efficiency by using the combination of fixed core and variable core so as to extend length of core in accordance with the size of thrust. CONSTITUTION: A core type linear motor comprises a mover constituted by cores(3a), coils(1a,1b) and an upper plate(7), wherein the mover is applied with a power; and a stator constituted by a magnet and a magnet mounting plate. The core type linear motor is formed by a flat coil and a shaping coil which are stacked into a layer so as to increase thrust per unit volume, and includes a unit coil constituted by a group of three phases of A, B and C arranged between core slots. As a consequence, the core has a flexible structure which is capable of being expandable in the lengthwise direction.
