METHOD FOR MONITORING DATA OF A TRUNK INTERFACE CARD, ESPECIALLY REGARDING TO MONITORING DATA FOR A CHANNEL DESIGNATED IN A SPECIFIC E1 LINE IN AN E1 INTERFACE CARD USED IN CAS

PURPOSE: A method for monitoring data of a trunk interface card is provided to confirm transmitted and received signaling data without using an external equipment when an error is generated in CAS signaling data, and easily grasp a cause of the error by examining a signaling data processing function of a trunk interface on-line. CONSTITUTION: A CAS signaling data monitoring function is set up by receiving a request for monitoring CAS signaling data received and transmitted through a channel designated in a specific E1 line from a superior processor/system manager(S1). The signaling data are processed to be transmitted to the designated channel(S2). The signaling data transmitted to the designated channel and clock data are stored on a memory assigned in a trunk interface card in accordance with the set CAS signaling data monitoring function(S9). The signaling data extracted from an E1 signal received through the designated channel is reported to a superior processor(S4). The signaling data received through the designated channel and clock data are stored on the memory in accordance with the set CAS signaling data monitoring function(S6). According to a request of the superior processor/system manager, the data stored on the memory is reported to the superior processor or displayed on an external output device(S7-S8).
