PURPOSE: EST(expressed sequence tag) clones differentially expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma and the use thereof are provided, The EST clones can be useful for diagnosis and treatment of cancer. CONSTITUTION: The EST(expressed sequence tag) clones differentially expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma comprise clone HA61T2(KCTC 10043BP) having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, PT18(KCTC 10044BP) having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2, HG63T1(KCTC 10045BP) having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3, HG57T1(KCTC 10046BP) having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4, DNT10(KCTC 10047BP) having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 5 and PT8(KCTC 10048BP) having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 6. The EST clones differentially expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma are applied to diagnostic probe, bio-chip or gene-therapy.
