Multifunctional Composition Using Ilmenite Raw Ore and Method For Manufacturing It

PURPOSE: Provided is a multifunctional composition using ilmenite(iron titanium oxide) which emits far infrared ray at room temperature, and has sterilization and deodorization. CONSTITUTION: The multifunctional composition comprises 3-30wt.% of ilmenite, 0.1-5wt.% of amphibole, 0.1-5wt.% of allanite, up to 5wt.% of rare earth, up to 10wt.% of one or more of mica, magnetite, quartz, kaolin, augite, rutile, etc. and the balance being anorthite. The other composition comprises 30-70wt.% of the above composition and 30-70wt.% of one or more of quartz porphyry, jade, serpentine, activated carbon, zeolite, yellow earth, etc. The compositions are prepared by grinding raw materials to the size of 1-6000mesh, mixing, and sintering over 100deg.C and preferably over 700deg.C over 2hrs. The composition has three dimensional network structure or two and three dimensional mixed network structure in forming.
