PURPOSE: An LCD device that an after-sales service can be easily conducted is provided to form an opening portion on one side to easily separate a backlight assembly only, without disassembling the entire LCD device when display properties deteriorate, thereby reducing time required for conducting an after-sales service while improving work efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A backlight assembly(40) is inserted into a mold frame(31) whose right side is open. An LCD panel(33) is located at an upper side of the mold frame(31). A top chassis(35) whose right side is open is combined with the mold frame(31) to fix the LCD panel(33). When the top chassis(35) is combined with the mold frame(31), an opening portion(37) is formed on a right side of an LCD device since the right sides of the mold frame(31) and the top chassis(35) are open. Top chassis mounting portions(39) are assembled into a laptop-type computer while fixing the backlight assembly(40).
