CONTROLLING METHOD FOR NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING SIMPLE NETWORK MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a network management system by using a simple network management protocol is provided to confirm basic standard management information of loaded equipment and management information individually provided, by constructing management system with a main management subsystem and sub-management subsystems, thereby improving the efficiency of the management. CONSTITUTION: If receiving a request for management information from a management manager(10) in an instruction standby state, a main management subsystem(30) performs a predetermined access right authentication and obtains predetermined management information through an internal or sub-management subsystems(40). The main management subsystem(30) transmits the obtained management information to the management manager(10), and is transited to an instruction standby state. If receiving an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) message from the main management subsystem(30) in an instruction standby state, a plurality of sub-management subsystems(40) load management information obtained through a predetermined management information obtaining process at an SNMP response message, sends the SNMP response message to the main management subsystem(30), and is transited to an instruction standby state.
