Specimen curing apparatus for early measuring strength test of hardening concrete and the method by using the same

PURPOSE: An apparatus for estimation of rigidity of concrete and a method for determination of the rigidity are provided to preliminarily assume the rigidity and/or quality of the concrete in actual sites and to improve reliability for the constructional work. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a test body from a concrete sample made of cement, water and fine materials together with concrete; a plastic mold having a structure for holding and sealing the sample to cure it for rigidity test; a curing device for heating and curing the mold containing the test sample; and a cold curing device. The test body can be added with a rapid curing agent or a miscible agent as air-supplying agent to provide desired slump and air content. The curing device can be a household microwave range having 8-11 minutes for curing under 2-3 GHz of microwave frequency.
