Nuclear reactor abnormality diagnosis method and apparatus using CCD camera and thermal infrared camera system

PURPOSE: A nuclear reactor abnormality diagnosis method and an apparatus using CCD camera and thermal infrared camera system are provided to detect an abnormal part by matching a CCD image of an observable state with an infrared image. CONSTITUTION: A database is formed by using images of good states and environment images of night time, fog, smog, and smoke of a CCD camera part and an infrared camera part, and direction information and position information of the CCD camera part and the infrared camera part. An exploration image of a target is obtained from the CCD camera part and the infrared camera part. The CCD image of the CCD camera part is compared to the image of the database. The abnormal states of the CCD camera part and the infrared camera part are detected by matching the observable CCD image to an infrared image.
