Conversion Apparatus of Voice Communication Path in Integrated Access Device

PURPOSE: An apparatus for transferring an internal voice communication path in an IAD(Integrated Access Device) is provided to modify the pin connection structure of a connector installed in an IAD and to transfer an internal voice communication path in the event of power interruption so that a user can make a call using a customer premises telephone, even in case that the IAD is abnormal as power supplied to the IAD is interrupted. CONSTITUTION: In case that power supplied to an IAD is interrupted, a normal voice communication path gets opened. At this moment, a power monitoring part(430), detecting the interruption of power supply, controls a switch part(440) to short-circuit the pins #3 and #1 and pins #4 and #6 of a connector(428) respectively. Accordingly, pin #6, short-circuited with the pin #4 of each connector(420-426) to accept each customer premises telephone(210-216), is connected to the pin #6 of the connector(428). The pin #6 of the connector(428) is connected to the pin #4 of the connector(428). The pin #1, short-circuited with the pin #3 of each connector(420-426), is connected to the pin #1 of the connector(428). The pin #1 of the connector(428) is connected with the pin #3 of the connector(428). As a result, the customer premises telephone(210-216) gets connected with a telephone(418) physically.
