Solid and liquid separator of municipal and industrial wastewater sludge and swine wastes, and separating method using the same

PURPOSE: Provided are a solid/liquid separation method and apparatus being capable of effectively and rapidly separating solids and liquid and effectively removing the solids (dehydrated cake) from the apparatus without damage. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a housing(10) installed on a base(1) and having a dehydrated cake outlet(12) for discharging dehydrated solids cake after solid-liquid separation and a filtrate outlet(11) for discharging separated liquid, a filter barrel(20) rotatably installed in the housing(10) for separating liquids by centrifugal force, an inlet pipe(40) running through the filter barrel(20) for supplying sewage and wastewater sludge and livestock excrements to the filter barrel(20), a motor (M) for driving the rotating filter barrel(20) and the inlet pipe(40) via a driving force transferring unit, a plurality of supporting bars(31) fixed to the inlet pipe(40) at one ends, fixed frames(32) arranged in parallel with the inlet pipe(40) and fixed to the other ends of the supporting bars(31), a spring(33) provided to all end portions of the supporting bars(31) for elastically supporting the fixed frames(32), fixing nuts(34) for preventing separation of the springs(33) and the fixed frames(32) from the supporting bars(31), a plurality of fixed plates with a sector shape fixed to the outer surfaces of the fixed frames(32) at regular intervals, and a solid removal device, a sector shape scrapper, detachably attached to the fixed plates. The method comprises the steps of preparing the solid-liquid separator above, rotating the rotating filter barrel(20) and the inlet pipe(40) using the motor (M) and the driving force transferring unit at different rotating speeds, supplying sewage and wastewater sludge and livestock excrements into the filter barrel(20), removing filtrate through the filtrate outlet(11) of the housing(10), removing dehydrated solids cake through the cake outlet(12) of the housing(10) by the solid removal device(30) by centrifugal force, and transporting the discharged dehydrated cake using a conveyer belt.
