PURPOSE: Provided is a structure for an artificial wetland and a wastewater treatment apparatus using the same, which can effectively eliminate nitrogen and phosphorous in wastewater with water plants in short time by smoothing flow of wastewater in wetland and further provided is a wastewater treatment apparatus using the same structure. CONSTITUTION: The structure comprises a lower and an upper frames(20,10), a plurality of vertical pillars(21,11) fixed to the frames(20,10) in perpendicular direction to water flow, a plurality of pockets(25,15) provided between the pillars(21,11) so the pockets(25,15) are not flown off by water flow and in which water plants are planted, and a perforated panel(30) provided on the top of the upper frame(10), wherein the panel(30) is made of shells and polyethylene adhesive or shell power and clay.
