The instant matter inhibits the bitter taste and browning of cascara sagrada, and is used as raw material for foods and medicines. CONSTITUTION: An instant matter of cascara sagrada is characterized by comprising cascara sagrada, water of 80-100 deg.C, antioxidant, a stabilizing agent including organic compounds, and sugar syrup or cyclodextrin.
