CODING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONSTANT AMPLITUDE TRANSMISSION IN CODE SELECT CDMA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for encoding a transmission signal in a CS(Code Select)/CDMA communication system and a device therefor are provided to remove a level clipping process by making regular amplitude for orthogonal codes when encoding data bits, thereby preventing orthogonal damage caused by the level clipping process. CONSTITUTION: Many orthogonal code selectors(600,620,640) select one orthogonal code by using an information bit sequence. An encoding unit(680) encodes the information bit sequence, and outputs each information bit sequence. A redundant orthogonal code selector(660) selects one of the orthogonal codes by using the information bit sequence. Many signal converters(610,630,650,670) convert signals according to polarity of information bits inputted through each channel. Many logic operators perform logic operations for the orthogonal codes, redundant orthogonal codes, and the information bits. A digital synthesizer(690) synthesizes logic-operated data, and maintains amplitude of the data at certain level.
