PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of high strength construction materials by hydrothermal reaction of steelmaking slag unlike conventional reduction treatment of steelmaking slag. CONSTITUTION: The high strength construction materials are manufactured by the following steps of: grinding steelmaking slag(converter or ladle slag) to a size of 11micrometer; adding Ca(OH)2, hydration accelerator, and silica to be a mixture of CaO and SiO2 in a weight ratio of 35-40 : 55-65; forming to a plate shape; hydrothermal reacting the compacts(plates) at 100-400deg.C under the pressure of 250psi. in an autoclave, resulting in growth of tobermorite phase for increase of strength.
