摘要

PURPOSE: A bridge beam reinforcement method and a device are provided to prevent a crack by straightening and correcting deflection of PC(Precast) beams caused by long-term use of the PC beams and to prevent progress of the crack formed. CONSTITUTION: PC beams(3,4) are arranged to the bottom of a floor slab put on between piers(1,2) of a bridge to support and reinforce the floor slab. A bridge beam reinforcement method prevents a crack of the PC beams by pulling and straightening both ends of a steel strand(7) fixed to the PC beams and prevents progress of the crack formed. The bridge beam reinforcement method comprises steps of connecting adjoining PC beams by the steel strand; simultaneously pulling and tensing both ends of the steel strand situated to the center of the PC beams by cylinders(8); and fixing the ends of the tensed steel strand to the tensed positions to make the deflection of PC beams corrected.
