PURPOSE: An Internet function-embedded VCR and a recording control method thereof are provided to extract recording variables by analyzing a specific file, and to generate a control signal for recording by using the variables to obtain a more natural screen, then to store an address while setting a code, thereby preventing an information area from being thoughtlessly accessed. CONSTITUTION: A modem(210) transceives data on the Internet. An Internet function-embedded VCR(220) analyzes contents of received web data to store the contents, converts the stored data into a TV signal, and transmits the TV signal to a TV(230). The Internet function-embedded VCR(220) comprises as follows. A web browser(240) reconfigures the contents of the web data to store the data, and converts the stored data into the TV signal. A microcomputer(250) controls a recording/reproducing of the web data by inputting a control signal. A recorder/reproducer(260) records/reproduces the web data according to the control signal.
