PURPOSE: A GUI(Graphic User Interface) based total management system for controlling the power supply and a screen of a remote computer system, and generating alarm information is provided to be used for a failure of the remote computer or a network, to enhance an output speed and accuracy of a remote screen, to totally manage the booting control of the remote computer and the monitoring after booting. CONSTITUTION: A main server(60) stores the information including the alarm standard information of the remote PCs(10) and UNIX systems(20), and communicates with the systems through the LAN(Local Area Network). Local servers(80) include a gateway server for undertaking the relay of the LAN communication between the main server(60) and one of the remote PCs(10) and UNIX systems(20), and offering a serial redirection function for the serial communication with respective UNIX systems(20). If the serial communication between the gateway server and the UNIX system(20) is realized, a GUI total module server(40) remotely outputs the screen information of each UNIX system(20) on the GUI space in real-time by communicating with the local servers through the LAN.
