METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SOUND ABSORBENT USING WASTE URETHANE RECYCLED AS CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a sound absorbent using waste urethane recycled as construction materials, thereby reducing amount of the waste urethane and ceramic waste and recycling valuable resources. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) crushing hard waste urethane into powder; (b) mixing 70-80 wt.% of urethane powder with 20-30 wt.% of a mixture powder of lime and ceramic to prepare sound absorbing powder particles; (c) mixing the sound absorbing powder particles with water in a ratio of 8 : 2 to uniformly knead the mixture; (d) after molding the kneaded sound absorbent mixture into a predetermined shape by using a mold frame, putting the molded mixture in a packing vinyl to seal it; and (e) after unpacking the sealed sound absorbent on the ground, constructing it as a bottom layer of a building.
