METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING SOURCE-CODES OF PROGRAM FOR NETWORK MANAGEMENT USING SNMP AND COMPUTER SOFTWARE PRODUCTS THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for generating a source code of a network management program using an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) and a recording medium are provided to easily create a management program and easily re-create a management program even if a managed object is changed according to a change in a network state. CONSTITUTION: When a source generation program starts performing, a CPU sets basic data including at least one MIB(Management Information Base) file name with respect to a source code of a management program to be generated(S210). The CPU reads an MIB file corresponding to at least one MIB file name(S215) and generates MIB information data of a tree structure from the read MIB file(S220). The CPU determines whether higher MIB information of the read MIB files is required(S225). If the higher MIB information is required, the CPU extracts corresponding higher MIB information from an MIB repository(S230). The CPU generates a header part of the source code of a management program to be generated(S235). The CPU generates a body part from the end of the header part of the source code of a management program(S240) and generates a tail part at an end of the body part(S245).
