PURPOSE: Provided is a ELISA method to determine a small concentration of 20-O--glucopyranosil-20(S)-protopanaxadiol(IH901) in a living body, a microorganism, and the method is applied to develop new drugs using the compound. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises: a step of synthesizing IH901-BSA conjugate by reacting IH901 with bovine serum albumin(BSA); making absorbing antigen IH901-OVA by reacting IH901 with ovalbumin; producing antigen from the microorganism after immunizing it with IH901-BSA; and establishing ELISA from the obtained IH901-OVA and antigen.
