Apparatus and method for removal with SOx, NOx and hazardous gas in flue gas using electrolyte water of electrolysis

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for the simultaneous removal of nitrogen oxide (NOx), sulfur oxide (SOx) and harmful gases by using acidic water and alkali water produced from water electrolysis is provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an electrolysis equipment(10) for electrolysis of water to produce acidic water and alkali water; an oxidant supply device(20) for supplying oxidant to the acidic water; a chemical supply device(30) for supplying chemicals to the alkali water; a mixing device(40) for atomizing acidic water with oxidant added to the influent combustion gas to oxidize NOx and SOx; a scrubber(50) for atomizing alkali water with chemical added to the influent combustion gas introduced through the mixing device(40) to remove simultaneously NOx and SOx by electrochemical reaction and neutralization, reduction reactions, thereby discharging clean gas to atmosphere.
