FIELD: feed production, in particular, production of feed additives from wastes of velvet antlers reindeer breeding, in particular, from tails.;SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary cleaning of newly cut or frozen tails from hair cover; drying at temperature of 30-40⁰C for 2-3 days; grinding on guillotine to 1-2 cm³ sized particles and repeatedly grinding to powdered amorphous state. Feed additive produced by said method, as well as preparations produced from velvet antlers, include wide range of biologically active substances, is adaptogenic, and exhibits stimulating, tonic and hypotensive effect.
