FIELD: agricultural microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new strain of bacterium, preparing the preparation for reducing morbidity of plants causing by root rots. New strain of non-symbiotic nitrogen-fixing microorganisms Azotobacter vinelandii IB 1 is obtained by method of analytical selection of natural isolates by selection of producers eliciting the sufficiently high antagonistic activity with regards to fungal phytopathogens. The strain is deposited in collection of cultures of biology Institute of Ufa Scientific Center RAS at = Az IB 1. For preparing the preparation the strain is cultured in nitrogen-free Fedorov's medium at 28-30 C for 60 h with aeration to titer value 1010 CFU/ml. Preparation prepared on the base of this strain inhibits the development of plants diseases caused by root rots and stimulated plants growth by producing growth hormones cytokines in the amount 290 ng/ml of cultural fluid.
