FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring parameters characterizing sagittal and transversal occlusion curves with respect to system of absolute coordinates. Frankfurter horizontal line fixable by means of facial arc is selected as the system of absolute coordinates. Distance from the central fissure and tubercle tops and inclination angle with respect to facial arc are measured for each tooth in turn. Mathematical processing of the data is carried out by applying right angle triangle rule and trigonometric functions for determining real distance from a point under study to the Frankfurter horizontal line. Individual specific of the sagittal and transversal occlusion curves is determined for all other teeth under study by using the set of received data. Device has holder and pivotally fixed protractor, facial arc with holder movably and fixably mounted by means of clapping screw, adapter rigidly connected at an angle of 90 deg in the opening of which vertical rod is mounted by means of clapping screw. The protractor is axially rotatable about the fastening screw and fixed on the lower end of the rod. The protractor base has bar-like extension provided with removable measuring pin on its end.
