SYSTEM FOR TRANSFER OF OVAL CIGARETTES FROM LONGITUDINAL-AXIAL MOVEMENT PATH TO TRANSVERSE-AXIAL MOVEMENT PATH

FIELD: cigarette industry. SUBSTANCE: transfer system has guide for moving of cigarettes with vertically oriented small axes in direction of their large axes, transfer device for receiving cigarettes delivered from guide and changing cigarette movement direction to direction transverse to their longitudinal axes, and feeding device for receiving of cigarettes from transfer device and further feeding in direction transverse to their longitudinal axes. System allows cigarettes to be properly positioned in troughs of feeding device. Guide is made spirally or helically twisted to provide turning of cigarettes so that cigarettes be delivered onto transfer device with their large axes oriented in vertical plane. Such construction allows cigarettes to be delivered into troughs of feeding device in position, in which small transverse axes of cigarettes are oriented outside, i.e., cigarettes are located inside troughs in stable position by resting on longer sides of their side surfaces. EFFECT: increased efficiency in transferring of cigarettes from one to another part of movement path by stabilized position of cigarettes in troughs. 7 cl, 2 dwg
