FIELD: organometallic products. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physical chemistry of nanostructures and colloid systems and can be utilized in preparation of coatings, sorbents, and catalysts. Copper or aluminum foil is used as substrate. Aluminum foil is pretreated electrochemically in CuSO4 solution, foil functioning as cathode therein, or anodized for 1 h in 20% H2SO4 at 20 C, voltage 15 v, and current density 2 A/sq.dm. Foil is covered with reaction mixture containing aromatic hydrocarbon (e.g. anthracene), AlCl3, NaCl, and NiCl2 at molar ratio 1:10:10:2, or aromatic hydrocarbon and polyvanadic acid at molar ratio 1:1. The total is then heated to temperature not superior to 160 C. Resulting nanostructure films are characterized by good adhesion to substrate.
