SUBSTANCE: in proposed method A C source is connected to grid of grounding facility made of horizontal elements crossing in node, path of main lines of grounding electrode is established, transmitters are positioned on opposite sides of node above each horizontal element crossing in node, value and direction of current in each horizontal element is found, currents in horizontal elements are summed up sand minimum of sum of currents is used to make judgment on lack of contact between grid of grounding facility and vertical element. EFFECT: decreased labor input thanks to hardware determination of presence of contact between horizontal elements of grounding grid and vertical element. 1 dwg
