SUBSTANCE: nasal composition comprises pyroglutamic acid in the concentration from 0.01% to 20% of composition mass and another organic acid taken in the amount from 0.01% to 10% of composition mass. An organic acid has the dissociation constant (pKa) from 3.0 to 5.0. The combination of indicated pyroglutamic and organic acid provides pH value on surface of nasal cavity from 3.5 to 5.5. Composition is effective for prophylaxis of cold symptoms and influenza of viral origin or their significant attenuation if a patient suffers with these symptoms.
