FIELD: medicine, juvenile ophthalmology.;SUBSTANCE: one should perform triple measuring arterial pressure upon brachial artery with measuring device for arterial pressure at calculating average arithmetic value and average dynamic pressure (Pa) by the following formula: Pa = Pd + 1/3(Ps - Pd), where Ps -systolic arterial pressure, Pd - diastolic arterial pressure. At value of average dynamic pressure being below 74 mm mercury column one should predict high risk for development of myopia in schoolchildren with emmetropia, and at the value of average dynamic pressure being above 74 mm mercury column in schoolchildren with myopia one should state upon favorable flow of process in dynamics. The method enables to simplify and increase availability of ways to detect risk group for myopia at earlier stages and predicting its development in average and older school age.;EFFECT: higher efficiency of prediction.;3 dwg, 1 tbl
