METHOD FOR MAKING WELDED ARTICLES OF LOW-CARBON, LOW-ALLOY AND PLAIN STEELS

FIELD: manufacture of welded articles of low-carbon, low-alloy and plain steels.;SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of HF - welding; cooling welded joint in air directly after welding until temperature in range (Ac1 + 25) - (Ac1-75) C; further heating it by 100- 200 C and finally cooling in air.;EFFECT: improved strength of welded joint almost equal to that of initial material, high ductility of joint due to elimination of flaws in material structure.;2 tbl
