According to second alternative method two different-color laser beams separated at desired frequency-to-frequency distance that function as exciting radiation are focused within definite-length cavity thereby generating rotational Raman lines by means of quarter-wave Raman shift at the same time suppressing oscillatory Raman lines. Device implementing these methods has two lasers, two wavelength meters designed to check laser radiation wavelength, second wavelength meter, Raman cell, beam splitter designed to align two laser beams arriving from first and second lasers and to ensure their coaxial arrangement, as well as lens designed to focus laser beams in Raman cell.;EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.;6 cl, 8 dwg
